Why you can’t find your purpose
Going to work or school? Can you inject greater purpose into that activity? Is it a 10-minute drive or could it be a 30-minute walk? Could that 30-minute walk have the purpose of getting you to work and get you your daily exercise and be a time of prayer or worship you know you need? The cool thing about this is that not only do you turn a 10-minute activity into a 30-minute activity but you can actually do all three at the same time. If you will, 30 minutes of exercise, 30 minutes of prayer, and a 10-minute drive now in one 30-minute activity? That is 70 minutes of things you need to do every day done in 30 minutes. The Power of Joy
We’ve all experienced it. A huge smile, infectious laugh, or that special person sitting next to you. These are the kind of gifts that lift us. Some would even say these gifts are completely free to give. But there is more than meets the eye in these experiences.

What is Life Coaching?
You might be wondering, “What exactly is life coaching and how it is different from therapy, counselling, consulting, or mentoring?”
The biggest difference to any of these is the approach that you and I are equal. I don’t have your solutions. I am not better or worse than you. We are peers, partnering together for your benefit, from your creativity and resourcefulness, for your solutions. I am not going to fix your problems, you are.

When bad news breaks in
Eventually, we will all receive bad news in our lives. If you haven’t yet, it will come as you grow older. People you love will get sick, some will die. You will have medical challenges, and eventually, your life will come to a close. It is something that we don’t talk about a lot. Facing a crisis or facing death can be a very hard and often lonely journey.

Validate your Young People!
“You can be anything you want to be” speaks to a future person. This doesn’t actually speak to the current person. Instead of approaching young people with these huge life-altering questions like, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” ask currently relevant questions. “What do you enjoy doing with your free time?” or “What do you do when you are out with friends?” and then validate those things. An unconditional approach can actually allow you into a more meaningful relationship with these young people.
